Chris Rock Reportedly Got His First Tattoo At 55 With His Daughter

Hot New Hip Hop reported today that Chris Rock just got his first tattoo ever at the age of 55-years-old alongside his 18-year-old daughter, Lola. The actor and his oldest daughter, Lola, went to a local tattoo shop on the 15th of July, Wednesday.

The outlet says Chris and his eldest daughter visited the Bang Bang tattoo parlor in New York City to dip their toes into the world of body art. Chris got a Basquiat crown design, whereas Lola got a dinosaur with the same crown on its head.

Bang Bang Tattoo’s official Instagram page shared that Chris and his daughter showed up to their parlor the other evening. They thanked them for putting trust into them.

Chris has been in the headlines for other reasons as of late. Fans of the legendary comedian know that he has frequently been atop his fans’ minds due to his rocky personal life, including his divorce and subsequent breakup with Megalyn Echikunwoke.

A report from Page Six earlier this year revealed that the 55-year-old comic and the 36-year-old separated a few months back. Their breakup was never revealed at its actual time. According to an insider who spoke with the outlet, Chris was still struggling with his past relationship.

As it was noted above, Chris and his ex-wife, Malaak Compton-Rock, got divorced in 2016. The comedian has said in the past that the separation was not only costly but emotionally painful as well. Moreover, Rock has been very expressive about it.

For example, during an interview with Rolling Stone in the year after the divorce, Chris said it was difficult because it was like starting over from scratch again. Chris admitted he had cheated on his wife three times with different women, one of which who was a celebrity.

Furthermore, Chris discussed his divorce in one of his recent comedy specials. Regarding his romance with Echikunwoke, Rock and Megalyn reportedly started dating in 2016. Reports at that time claimed she had moved into Rock’s New Jersey home.
