Benzino Net Worth: Benzino is an American rapper, hip hop media executive and record producer who has a net worth of $500 thousand. Benzino has earned his net worth through his music and publishing career. He was born Raymond Scott on July 18, 1965, in Boston, Massachusetts. Benzino is perhaps more recently known for his appearance in reality television than for his accomplishments in the music industry. Initially known as Raydog, he started his professional music career as a member of the rap group Almighty RSO. Benzo’s popularity came with his association with The Source, a hip-hop magazine which he co-founded in 1988 with David Mays in his Harvard University dorm room. Additionally, Benzino was a founding member of the rap group Made Men, before finally embarking on a solo career. Benzino made headlines for being involved in a widely publicized feud with rapper Eminem, or as Benzino called him “2003 Vanilla Ice.” Since 2002, the two rappers have been creating diss tracks about each other, which include Benzino’s “Pull Your Skirt Up” and “Die Another Day” on one side, and Eminem’s “The Sauce” and “Nail in the Coffin” on the other.

Benzino was featured on the VH1 reality TV show, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta from 2012 to 2014. Benzino previously published Hip Hop Weekly, a well-known urban music publication. At one point he was engaged to Althea Heart, a former signee to Def Jam Records. After the couple broke up, Althea filed for a restraining order against Benzino. He then slapped her with a paternity suit.

Benzino has released the albums Revenge of Da Badd Boyz with The Almighty RSO (1994), Doomsday: Forever RSO with The Almighty RSO (1996), Classic Limited Edition with Made Men (1999), The Benzino Project (2001), The Benzino Remix Project (2002), Redemption (2003), Die Another Day: Flawless Victory (2003), Arch Nemesis (2005), The Antidote (2007), When The Heavens Fall with 1st 48 (2010), Caezar (2011), Blue Bag with 1st 48 (2011), The Magnificent 757’s with Stevie J (2012), Crushed Ice as Zino Grigio (2013), and Welcome to Texaco City with OJ da Juiceman (2015).

In June 2019, Benzino was arrested in Georgia after being pulled over in his Acura TLX. He reportedly yelled racist comments at one of the officers who was arresting him on an outstanding warrant.
